This is the first of the Comp e-NEWS for the 2006 Pre-Worlds Event Series (Kiwi Open and Pre-Worlds).

This e-NEWS is being sent to all pilots who have registered online to enter the comps - that is, those who have an entry AND those on the waiting list.
이 이메일 공지는 온라인으로 등록된 경기 참가자와 대기선수 모두에게 보내어진 것입니다.
A separate email is also being sent regarding your entry fee payment status. If you do not receive a payment received/not received email then you are on the waiting list.
덧붙여 참가비에 관한 이메일 또한 보내어집니다. 이메일을 통해서든 아니든 내야할 참가비내역을 받지 못했다면 대기명단에 있는 것입니다.
You can check which comps you have a place for on the web site - a TRUE "0" means you have a place, a TRUE "1, 2, 3...." means you have registered for that comp BUT you are on the waiting list. FALSE means you did not register for the comp.
당신은 경기에서 어떤 배정을 받았는지 웹싸이트에서 체크 하십시오 "0"은 배정을 받았다는
의미이고 1,2,3은 경기에 등록은 하였으나 대기명단에 있는것이고 FALSE는 경기에
등록하지 않았다는 의미입니다.

Manilla Kiwi Open $140 before 1st Jan 2006, $170 thereafter, Manilla Pre-Worlds $170 before 1st Jan, $190 after.
마닐라 키위오픈 140불이지만 1월1일이 지나면 170불입니다. 마닐라 프리 월드는 170불이지만
1월1일 이후는 190불입니다.

A reminder that pilots are responsible for their own retrieves.

If you are coming alone or don't have a car or team then email me directly and I will put you on a list to find one.

If you have spare place in a car for another pilot or 2, also let me know so I can put you in touch with those that don't.

There is a list of drivers with the driver co-ordinator - Vicki Cocking (Royal Hotel ph +61 2 67 851017). You can email me for this also.The usual rate for a driver is A$50-70 per day plus a late return $10/hr after 7pm. For a 4WD and driver it's A$120-170 / day plus fuel - that's A$30-40 + fuel per person (based on 4 pilots).

The organization can arrange retrieves for pilots at a cost of A$110 per day in a mini bus with a minimum of 5 pilots. Pick ups to be made generally along the course line only. It must be booked and pre-paid by 23rd Jan 2006 and includes a staff member as co-ordinator, bus and driver.

TEAMS
Remember the TEAMS competition is 4 pilots per team and is handicapped (that is some pilots get bonus points).
팀경기는 팀당 4명이라는것과 핸디캡이 있다는것을 기억하십시오(다른 파일럿이 보너스점수를
얻을수 있다는 것입니다.)
First Prize is A$1000 cash for the Pre-Worlds and A$400 for the Kiwi Open !

CDMA mobile phones and UHF Radio's
The GSM mobile phone network DOES NOT work in Manilla or for XC's. It is recommended to use the CDMA mobile phone system which has 90% coverage in the region. The handsets do not take SIM cards from GSM phones. The CDMA phs available from various providers as pre-paid units to buy or you can hire them.

The Official competition radio channel will be in the Australian UHF CB band (476-477 MHz).

Some multi-band radios such as Icom T90A and Yeasu VX5R etc can be "opened" to transmit on these frequencies.
