License for Foreign Pilots

Overseas licensed pilots are generally allowed to fly in Korea upon presenting a valid foreign license or IPPI card (FAI Pilot Certificate for hang gliding and paragliding).

Required Documents

Valid license from home country OR IPPI Card (minimum level: P3 for paragliding)
KHPGA membership (temporary or regular)
Insurance certificate valid in Korea

IPPI Card

Korea is a member of FAI CIVL. Pilots holding an IPPI Card at level P3 or above can fly at designated Korean sites after registering with the local school/club.
